“Born and raised in Tiffin, Ohio, Donna moved to Michigan in 1960. She now resides in Interlochen, MI where she has a studio that overlooks Green Lake. The wildlife surrounding her home greatly influences her work.
“My subject matter runs from people and landscape works to abstractions. Fifty-three countries traveled worldwide unfold various colors, textures, and shapes that awaken my creativity, feeding off my experiences, one idea leads to another, consequently there are several projects set in motion simultaneously.
Media: encaustic, oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, mixed media, relief metalwork, photography, stained-glass, digital media, pen and ink, color pencil, and hand-built clay figures.”
