Upon retiring from a fulfilling 38 year career in Physical Therapy in Leelanau and the Grand Traverse area, I welcomed the opportunity to blend my interests in the arts with more experiences in nature and hiking pursuits.
I had enjoyed art endeavors as a young person and rejuvenated those interests with guidance from Betsy Abeel and her wonderful instructional drawing classes during the latter years of my professional career.
I now have taken my love of drawing and design to the clay medium to make ceramic tiles. It is a labor of love. Each tile is individually created, glazed and presented usually with a natural wood accent. I’m honored to share my work with you.
